Correction Policy
How readers can request corrections and how confirmed errors, updates and clarifications are handled.
Last updated: 15 Jun 2026
Sarkari Updates Daily aims to correct material factual errors after verification and to distinguish a correction from a later change made by the responsible authority.
How to request a correction
Use the Contact Us page and provide the affected URL, the exact text or field in question, the proposed correction and a reliable supporting source. For a broken link, identify the button label and the expected destination. Clear evidence allows a faster review.
Review process
An editor compares the report with available official notifications, corrigenda, authority websites and publication dates. The team may contact the sender for clarification or wait for an authority to resolve conflicting information. A correction is not made solely because another unofficial website presents different data.
Correction, update and clarification
A correction fixes information that was materially wrong when published. An update reflects a later official change, such as an extended deadline or revised examination date. A clarification improves wording that was technically correct but could reasonably confuse readers.
How changes appear
Minor typographical or formatting fixes may be made without a separate notice. Material changes should refresh the page modification date and may include a note where context is important. Search snippets and caches can take additional time to reflect an updated page.
What may not require correction
Personal opinions, requests to suppress accurate public information, unsupported claims and design preferences do not automatically require a factual correction. We may still improve clarity when a reasonable reader could misunderstand a page.
Appeal or follow-up
If you believe a report was misunderstood, reply with additional primary evidence and explain why it changes the conclusion. Repeated messages without new information may not receive a different outcome.
